Local Design Studio’s Work for CVB Wins Two Awards

Dotson Design Studio, LLC, the business that operates and publishes the Dresden Buzz, also creates print and web marketing materials for businesses and organizations. Recently, one of those organizations was presented with two awards for a brochure that was designed by Lynette Dotson of Dotson Design Studio.

In the final quarter of 2019 The Coshocton Visitors Bureau received a first-place OACVB Star Award in the category of Brochure/Flyer/Rack Card as well as a Citation of Excellence at the Ohio Travel Association’s 2019 Ohio Conference On Travel Ruby Awards. The CVB entered its 2019 Three Rivers Ride Motorcycle Map Brochure which was redesigned by Dotson Design Studio. The new brochure featured a redrawn trail map, original photography and creative design elements that made the piece a standout among others in the popular category. The CVB’s website which was also developed in 2019 was also nominated for an award and placed top three in its category.

Over Dotson Design Studio’s decade in business, they have helped other businesses earn recognition for their marketing. In 2014 a brochure made by Dotson Design Studio for Dicken’s Victorian Village won a Ruby Award, that same year the Dickens Victorian Village website was a finalist at the OTA’s Ruby Awards. In 2011 Dotson Design Studio’s first large website build which was for Historic Roscoe Village received the Ohio Travel Association’s Citation of Excellence Award. Just one year prior to that in 2010, Lynette Dotson was presented with the Friend of Education Award for promoting the Coshocton County Career Center in the Dotson Design Studio publication, YOUnique Magazine.

Dotson Design Studio is entering its eleventh year in business. They have had the pleasure of working with large and small businesses and organizations throughout Ohio and even out of state. The design business originated in West Lafayette. In 2014 Dotson Design Studio opened its first office on Main Street in Dresden.
