On July 8, the second annual Strut
Your Pup contest was held, located at
the Muskingum County Fairgrounds.
Participants brought their dogs adorned
with cute costumes, which were judged
by Sheriff Matt Lutz. The contest con-
sisted of two awards which were Best
Costume, and Cutest Dog. The contest
was split into two parts, separating the
large dogs from the smaller ones. The
event was hosted by the Muskingum
County K-9 Adoption Center and had a
great turnout. To adopt a dog from the
K-9 Adoption Center, go to musking-
umcountyoh.gov.
