PASTOR MIKE ROBINSON THE SWEET LIFE (CONTINUED)
Dear Friend,
I trust you have implemented steps one and two of how to achieve the sweet life
of a dedicated Christian. And, you are now pursuing a personal relationship with
God, and a passionate love for the Bible on a daily basis.
Today, we will look into the third step of our formula.
A determined pursuit of wisdom will make life sweet. Determine today to obey
God’s Word. Solomon wrote, “My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep
sound wisdom and discretion: so shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy
neck. Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble. When
thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep
shall be sweet.” (PR 3:19-24)
A good preacher once said, “You will either grow sweet or sour as you grow
older. Whatever you may become will be largely a result of your choices in life. Life
is a series of choices. You need the wisdom of God to make the right choices. Good
choices sweeten life. Sinful choices spoil life.”
Dear friend, it’s not enough just to know this formula. We must do the work!
Start today. Love God, love the Bible, and obey his commandments. Start now, and
you will be well on your way to a much, much sweeter life.
See you on Sunday!
