REVIVAL
PASTOR MIKE ROBINSON
Dear Friend,
“Wilt thou not revive us again that thy people may rejoice in thee?”
Someone has wisely said, “Your best, no matter how poor is good enough; less
than your best, no matter how great is not good enough.” This statement ought to
cause any honest Christian to engage in some serious introspection. Have I been
giving my best to Christ? Or, have I allowed my Christian life to be conformed to
the level of cultural acceptability? There is always a pressure from within a society
to conform to the norm. Because of this tendency to decline, we often find ourselves
in need of spiritual “revival”.
One writer defined revival as “a renewed obedience to God.” True revival in the
life and heart of an individual will always result in a greater desire for the things of
God, a greater dependence upon the power of God, and most importantly, a greater
dedication to the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ. Lady Electric’s Dilyn Brown slides into second safely against Crooksville. Matthew Dotson
