Adamsville Elementary Student Competes At State Fair

Sixth-grader, Dyllon Ault competed in not just one but two events at the Ohio State Fair this year.

First, Dyllon showed his Llama Zorro in the Ohio State Fair Llama and Alpaca Show.  Zorro has been a part of the Ault family for a little over two years.  This nearly 3-year-old lovable creature was described by Dyllon as cute and calm.  He says that his llama loves to give kisses.  Training Zorro is one of Dyllon’s favorite parts of caring for him. There are many obstacles that are part of every show that he has to be trained to do.  Some of these obstacles include jumps, steps, tunnels, changes of surfaces and even a teeter-totter and wading through a kiddie pool.  In this year’s show, Dyllon and Zorro received Reserve Champion in the junior division!

Then on July 28th, Dyllon participated in the Ohio State Fair Spelling Bee.  He was one of two students chosen from his class to go.  The first round was no match for Dyllon, but he went out in the second to rank 19 out of about 55 students.  Dyllon enjoyed participating and thought it was a great experience.
