The importance of helping others is just one of the many valuable life lessons that are instilled in children who join Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Pack 121 and Troop 121 are partnering with the Frazeysburg AIM Outreach to collect non-perishable items for their food pantry.
Paper grocery bags were placed on approximately 2200 doorsteps in Frazeysburg earlier this month. The scouts are asking residents to fill the bags with non-perishable foods that are still within their sell-by date. Then, on August 25 the scouts will come to pick up the filled bags. Please leave your donations on your front doorstep by 9:30 a.m. that day. The scouts ask that you text or call Wendy at 740-297-0596 if your bag is not picked up by 12:30 on August 25.
Scouts have to fulfill a certain amount of service hours and the food drive will help them meet their goal while doing something positive to help their community.
Aim Outreach is open every Monday from 10am-noon & 4-6pm
