The Scotties Varsity squad made a clear and definite statement tonight in their decisive 3-0 win over Maysville. They posted their 5th shutout of the season only allowing two shots. The strength of the back line is ever growing and is led by Lucas Wilson and his team of hard workers in Alex Huy, Lucas Miller, Ethan Shaner, and Jack Hehr. They denied everything that came their way during the match. Maysville put up a strong defensive front the entire match, but Tri-Valley capitalized on three opportunities on goal from Brady Baker (2 Goals) and Sean Lacy (1 Goal). All three goals came in the first half and were assisted by Lance Comstock, Mason Dunn, and Parker Dinan. Possession was key for the Scotties and their fast paced play with 1-2 touches left Maysville struggling to keep up. Three different players found the posts and multiple shots were stopped by defenders before reaching the goal. Tri-Valley posted 11 corner kicks on the night while only giving up one opportunity for Maysville.
