The Tri-Valley Marching Scotties hosted 17 area bands during the 31st Annual Tri-Valley Band Classic on the evening of October 20th.
Bands who performed included Belpre High, Northridge High, Shenandoah High, Waterford High, Ada High, Licking Valley High, Bloom-Caroll High, Morgan High, Philo High, Maysville High, Zanesville High, Watkins Memorial High, River View High, Licking Heights High, Grove City High, Hilliard Davidson High and of course Tri-Valley High.
Although a competition, the observing bands cheered and clapped to show their support of the musicians on the field.
All but 7 of the participating bands qualified for state including the Marching Scotties who received all ones for their performance. After the awards ceremony concluded a few of the Tri-Valley Band members raced to the victory bell and let it ring.
