Tri-Valley Win Against Maysville Secures the MVL Championship!

Once again the rain and colder temperatures did not slow down the Tri-Valley Scotties as they took down the Maysville Panthers in week 10 to not only clinch a tie in the MVL with Sheridan but to also lock in a trip to the State Quarterfinals in division II – region 7.

The first score of the night was brought in by #33 sophomore Jordan Pantaleo with a 27-yard charge to the end zone, and with a good PAT by #46 Kaden Bay the Scotties took the lead 7 – 0.

Even through the constant rain, the DAWGs kept rolling forward with a 33-yard touchdown pass from #9 Luke Fargus to #4 Carson Simpkins bringing the score to 14 – 0 with 2:16 left in the first quarter.

The second quarter brought another score from the Scotties with a 4th down pass from Fargus to Fritter to get a 29-yard touchdown and up the lead to 21 – 0 over Maysville.  They would hold that score going into halftime.

After the half, both teams came back battling but the rain and cold were definitely taking their toll.  The Scotties pulled off their final touchdown of the game with just 24 seconds left in the third quarter win running back Blake Sands punched the ball through the end zone for a short score.  The PAT brought the final tally to 28-0 against Maysville, and the Panthers were not able to recover.  Way to go DAWGs!
