Frazeysburg Lions Club Mitten Tree Project Kicks Off

The Mitten Tree Project for Christmas, hosted by the Frazeysburg Lions Club, helps needy families by providing gifts for children for Christmas. It is open to children under the age of 11, living in the Tri-Valley School District.  Applications are being accepted for the Mitten Tree Project until November 17th.  Applications can be found at Johnston’s Pharmacy in Frazeysburg.  Mittens with wish lists from area children will be on the tree at Johnston’s Pharmacy by November 20th. Community groups, families and businesses help fill the children’s Christmas wishes. Details for how to donate will be on each mitten.  All gifts will be wrapped in a large trash bag and labeled for pickup. Arrangements will be made with the families after December 15th to pick up the gifts.
