Color Guard’s Bazaar a Huge Success

Over 100 vendors filled the Tri-Valley High School Cafetorium Saturday, November 17 for the 1st Annual Fall Bazaar & Craft Show organized by the Tri-Valley High School Color Guard.

The bazaar was formally known as the Flinger Bazaar because the Highland Flinger dance team ran it.  Since the event has been missed by the community the Color Guard decided to give the event a reboot and market it as a kick-off for holiday shopping.

Various small businesses selling Thirty-One Bags, Scentsy Candles, Initials, Mary Kay, Lularoe were present.  There were also tables adorned with baked goods to purchase and several crafters with numerous kinds of decor, Christmas decorations, primitives, jewelry and more.  There were so many vendors that the cafetorium could not hold them all.  Tables were set up in the adjoining halls in the school as well.

Besides shopping, attendees had a chance to win door prizes and were invited to try their luck with 50/50 drawings, and the band boosters provided concessions for the hungry shoppers.

The bazaar is now the Color Guard’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Vendor spaces were available at $20 each which provided a low-cost opportunity to crafters and small businesses to market their items and at the same time raised much-needed funds for the Tri-Valley Band Boosters.

Plans are already in place for next year’s event.
