Santa is Coming to Town!

You read that right…Santa will be in Dresden for the Home for the Holidays Parade!  The parade will begin at the South end of Main Street at 5:30 pm on Saturday, December 1st. Participants will begin to gather at the Tri-Valley Middle School at 4:00 pm.

Dresden’s beloved holiday tradition is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year!  Parade favorites like the Tri-Valley Marching Band and at least 20 characters by Characters Express including but not limited to Olaf, Mickey, Minnie, Elf On The Shelf, and The Grinch will be joining in on the celebration.  Grand Marshal Richie Longaberger will lead the parade this year.  Music will be provided by DJ Ryan Hammond.

The Tri-Valley Middle School Honor Society is going to be collecting new hats, gloves, and scarves again this year during the parade.  In years past over 700 items have been collected thanks to the generosity of parade goers.  Collected winter accessories will be donated to AIM Outreach and the Salvation Army. All donations are warmly welcomed and appreciated.

The event is organized by the Dresden Community Association and made possible because of businesses, organizations, and members of the community who care about continuing this celebration that kicks off the holiday season in Dresden.
