It’s that time of year, all of the Tri-Valley varsity fall sports have come to a close and as the weather turns colder we start to look forward to our winter sports lineup but before we do, let’s take a look at the great achievements of our Tri-Valley fall sports athletes.
Scotties varsity football had some high expectations coming off of a phenomenal 2017 season, but I think they delivered in a big way with not only another MVL Championship title, but also a Division II, Region 7 Semi-final showing. They worked their butts off and it showed.
Varsity boys cross country also worked very hard this season coming in at runner-up for the MVL championship. Way to go Scotties!
Girls varsity cross country had yet another great season locking in their 2nd straight MVL championship.
Tri-Valley boys varsity soccer brought home the trophy with an excellent season and their 3rd straight MVL championship title.
Girls varsity soccer had a great season coming in 2nd in the MVL race with a final game score of 10 – 7. Great job Lady DAWGs!
Lady Dawgs varsity golf had an excellent season placing 5th in Division II play at their first district tournament.
Scotties varsity volleyball team played hard this season and brought in some great achievements on the individual level but unfortunately their 11 – 11 (9 – 7 MVL) season was not without its share of challenges and injuries, but all in all, they played well and we congratulate them on their perseverance!
When you see team scores like this it is not hard to understand why sports are such a key issue in this community! Great job Scotties!!
