Friday, November 30th was a tough night for the Tri-Valley Boys Varsity basketball team as they took a hard loss to Columbus Desales Stallions 54 – 29.
It was a hard fought battle that found the Scotties struggling to find their edge as the Stallions pushed past them in the first period, and continued to their lead with 33-12 at the halftime intermission.
After the half Tri-Valley fought hard to get on the score board and managed to add 11 points in the 3rd period but Desales wouldn’t slow down adding 15 points to the board to end the 3rd period at 48-23.
Each team fought shot for shot in the 4th period and Tri-Valley kept the pace but it was too late as Desales finished out the night with a 54 – 29 win over the Scotties.
