Monday, January 28th at Coach Rich Longaberger court in Dresden, the Lady Scotties punished the Zanesville Blue Devils with a 75 – 13 win.
In a blaze of a game that left the Zanesville team spinning, the Lady Dawgs got the lead from the jump and never let go, taking an 18 – 4 lead by the end of the first period.
The second period was just as fast paced for the Scotties as they went to the hoop successfully for another 11 points while shutting out the Blue Devils during the period to gain a 29 – 4 lead by the half-time intermission.
After the break, Zanesville was hoping to pick up steam and get the lead back from the Scotties, but the chance was denied as the Tri-Valley girls locked in another 25 points to the Blue Devils 6 to end the third with a 54 – 11 lead.
During the fourth period Zanesville was all but shut out again as the Scotties took home a 75 – 13 win for the night bringing the team to a 15 -2 record overall and 10 – 2 in conference play. Great Job Ladies!
