In a non-stop battle for the hoop, the Tri-Valley Varsity boys basketball team proved that they have the stamina to go the distance, as well as the fight to come back from a deficit to win the game 46 – 43.
Tuesday, January 29th, the Scotties took on the Morgan Raiders on the Raiders’ home court. The fight was a tough one, but after being behind in the score both the first and second period, the Dawgs came out of the locker room ready to take back the game, and they did!!
In an extremely fast paced game against Morgan, Tri-Valley started the game off in a bit of a struggle to keep up with the energetic Raiders team. The two teams seemed to go shot for shot with the Scotties coming up just short at the end of the firs and second period, going into the locker room down 26 – 25.
In typical coach McLoughlin style, the Scotties came out of the locker room with a new drive and determination to take the win without question, at one point even taking the 1 point deficit to an 11 point lead at the end of the third period 41 – 30 against the Raiders.
Morgan wasn’t going to take it lying down
