Max Hittle of Dresden, Ohio was awarded the Muskingum County Cattlemen’s Appreciation Award recently.
He was given this award for his part in raising money for the 1996 Ohio Cattlemen’s Roundup hosted here in Muskingum County. He went to Dave (Popeye) Longaberger and asked if he would like to contribute. Dave gave $30,000.
That money was invested and is what the cattlemen use to give awards and give scholarships every year since 1996.
