Owen Graham was dedicated to serving his community. He spent 30 years volunteering for the Dresden Fire Department, was a police officer for a number of years, has served on the village council, was a member of the Dresden United Methodist Church, and an assistant coach for the Tri-Valley Girls Softball team.
A background in carpentry led Owen to own his construction business until he was hired to use those skills for Tri-Valley Schools as their maintenance supervisor. After about 35 years of dedication to Tri-Valley Schools, Owen was looking forward to retirement.
Owen had a long history in Dresden. He was raised here, was a 1971 graduate of Tri-Valley High School, met a local woman, Peggy, whom he was married to for 43 years and they raised their children here.
Those that knew him will not forget his sense of humor and willingness to help others. “He would do anything for anyone”, commented retired Dresden Police Chief Jeff Garver about his longtime friend.
