Tuesday, March 26th, in a battle of the pitchers, Tri-Valley came out victorious over the Morgan Raiders. In their second conference game of the season the Dawgs took the win with a 3 – 2 final score.
Tri-Valley gained the lead in the second inning when #13 Brendon Chambers got a single off of an 0 – 1 pitch bringing in a run.
Chambers came back to double in the fourth inning for another RBI, followed by #5 Ty Smith who also doubled for what would be the game-winning run.
#16 Pitcher Justin Fernburg got the win for the Scotties, he held Morgan at only two runs on three hits over his six inning stretch striking out six Raiders in the process.
#8 Dalton Anker stepped up for the save getting the last three outs of the game.
Alex Grevey got the loss for Morgan giving up three runs on 11 hits.
