Tri-Valley Lady Dawgs ground John Glenn Little Muskies

On Wednesday, April 10th, After a brief scare in the first inning when John Glenn hit a solo homer to lead the game out of the gate and a tie in the third inning Tri-Valley had the hits to show John Glenn they meant business with an 8 – 3 win for the game.

After a solo homer by John Glenn in the first inning the Lady Dawgs answered back in the 3rd inning with a single on a grounder to center hit by #16 Savannah Shumway followed by a sacrifice grounder by #9 Kearstin Dumolt and a run by Shumway on a passed ball bringing the game to 3 – 1 Scotties only to be tied in the bottom of the same inning.

But that did not slow down the Scotties girls, in the top of the 4th inning #13 Janessa Dawson hit a solo homer to left field to take the lead once and for all at 4 – 3.

In the top of the 5th inning, the Lady Dawgs brought in 2 runs on a double by #3 Brynn Miller followed by 2 runs brought in by a line drive to right field by #6 Hannah Worthington to bring the score to its final 8 – 3 Scotties. Great Job Lady Dawgs!!
