On Saturday, April 13th, Adamsville Elementary PTO hosted their first annual Bunny Hop 5k.
The morning was met with eager participants as well as a very nice mid-60s sunny day. People gathered in front of the elementary school awaiting the start of the race and visiting with the Easter bunny and other characters that were there on hand for the event. The 5k was a fundraiser with proceeds going toward a playground shelter house.
Among the crowd were people of all ages including parents pushing strollers and grandmas holding hands of the little ones as they made their way around the course. Following the race was an Easter egg hunt for kids age 12 and under. All in all it was a great day and everyone enjoyed themselves while helping the Elementary PTO
