Second New Shop to Open within a Month in Dresden

Over the last couple of years, some have been skeptical as to whether the village of Dresden was “worth visiting” because they were under the impression that there were hardly any shops open anymore. We at Dresden Buzz, have been featuring businesses in our paper since our conception to help bring awareness to the fact that there are and have been plenty of shops and restaurants to make a visitors day trip worthwhile.

The number of shops has increased in the past month to a total of ten unique shops throughout the Main Street area. The newest being The Farm Table, located at 705 Main Street in Dresden. This is the fourth location for The Farm Table group of shops, the other three are in the Columbus area. The small-town charm of Dresden appealed to shop owner, Christie Laffin who is happy to be a part of the shopping scene in Dresden, “I am excited to join the other hard-working store owners of Dresden,” commented Christie.

“Because I was a leader with Longaberger for 28 years, the opportunity to join The Dresden community was an easy decision. The heart of Dresden is alive and strong, we just need to start giving it our support again.” The Farm Table offers something totally different for shoppers who come to Dresden. Christie describes her shop as a home decor, furniture, handbags, paint and so much more shop.

Many shops, including The Farm Table, will be hosting special events and sales either directly after the Dave Longaberger Legacy Dinner or over the weekend (July 19-21). It will be a great time to either get reacquainted with Dresden or visit for the first time.
