It has been a busy July so far with three of the Tri-Valley area’s communities having some of their biggest events of the year. Fireworks shows, three parades, and tons of rides, games, entertainment and festivities kept families busy.
Frazeysburg kicked off the string of festivities with their first annual Independence Day Celebration on July 5th. The celebration included music, kids’ games, a parade, food and the grand finale of an EPIC fireworks show.
Dresden was up next with their annual four-day Homecoming which began on Wednesday, July 10 with a really nice nearly hour-long small-town parade. Each night a different band performed, there was nightly bingo, rides, food vendors and more.
Adamsville’s Homecoming began Wednesday, July 17 and will run through Saturday the 20th. A parade, truck pulls, musical performances, fireworks, and amusement rides are among the attractions at this year’s event.
Local summer fun does not end there. The Dresden Melon Festival is just around the corner. Get ready for a day of family fun on August 3rd from 9am-11pm at the Dresden River Park.
