The Tri-Valley Marching Band performed a preview of songs from their upcoming season titled “The Arts in Motion” on Friday, July 26 at the Jack.
The preview wrapped up a long week at band camp where the musicians learned the routines and songs. This first performance allowed family, friends and the community to get a glimpse of what to expect throughout the season and also celebrate how much the kids have learned in such a short amount of time. It is truly amazing.
In addition to the music for the Arts in Motion, the marching Scotties learned “Back in Black” from the band AC/DC as well as a medley of selections from the band Queen which we will look forward to hearing at the football games.
The band’s next performances of the year will be at the Dresden Melon Festival on August 3rd as well as at the Muskingum County Fair later this month.
