On Tuesday, July 23rd, at Jack Anderson Stadium, Tri-Valley hosted a 7 on 7 matchup with the football teams from Loudonville, and Ridgewood. Each team was taking turns running plays and practicing defense on the field and building stamina for the upcoming games for all 3 varsity lineups.
Coach Kevin Fell spent some time speaking to the coaches from both schools and lining up how the scrimmage would workout for each of the teams. Each team had a set amount of time to run plays, and practice defense against one of the other teams. When the plays were finished for both teams they switched up what teams were on the field and started over again.
With summer winding down and all three of these teams looking toward the opening of football season, it was a good chance to see how they performed against other Ohio schools.
With the skills that the Scotties showed on the field for this scrimmage, I for one am excited to see how this season plays out. Go Dawgs!
