The Tri-Valley Scotties girls varsity volleyball team had home court advantage in a game against New Lexington on Tuesday, August 27th at the Rich Longaberger Court in Dresden. From the Start the Lady Dawgs had little bit of a struggle against the Panthers and dropped the first match 20 – 25.
In the second match the two teams were going point for point with a long drawn out battle that took the Scotties to a 28 – 26 win for the match and kept everyone on the edge of their seats.
By the third match New Lex was looking pretty warn out and had a hard time keeping up with the Lady Dawgs . The girls put up point after point and handily knocked down their opponents 25 – 8.
For the last match, the Panthers had regained a little strength but not enough regain control. The Scotties put the win in the books with a final match score of 25 – 19. The win brings the Lady Dawgs to a 3 – 1 record so far for the season. Keep up the good work!
