The Tri-Valley boys varsity soccer team made the long bus ride to McConnelsville on Tuesday, August 27th to take on the Morgan Raiders on their home field directly behind the middle school building.
The Scotties came into the game with a 1 win, 1 tie, and 0 loss record. The first half of the game started off slow for the Scotties going into halftime with only a 1 point lead at 3 – 2 against Morgan. Hayden Whitt started the afternoon off with the first goal of the half, the other two goals for the first half were brought in by Brady Baker with an assist from Hayden Whitt.

After halftime the Scotties came out more focused. Both teams battled over the ball but the Dawgs clearly had better control and were able to strengthen their lead. Mason Dunn landed a goal for the Scotties uping the score to 4 – 2. A short bit later with an assist from Nico Repuyan, Cyrus Dittmar landed another goal for the second half.
At the end the Scotties had finished the game at 6 – 2 against the Morgan Raiders. Tyler McClellan had 4 saves for the game. This brings the Tri-Valley boys varsity record to 2 wins, 1 tie, and 0 losses. Way to go Dawgs!
