On Monday, September 9th at Kenny Wolford Park in Dresden, Ohio the Lady Scotties varsity soccer team set out to battle John Glenn with the hopes of adding a conference win against the Little Muskies. Unfortunately, John Glenn had other ideas and came out of halftime with an unnerving determination to win against Tri-Valley, and they did with a heavy 7 – 0 score.
The Scotties were trying hard to keep the Little Muskies at bay but could not stave off the constant goal attempts and forward push of John Glenn. In the first half the game the Dawgs defense was able to keep John Glenn slowed down and constantly switching possession of the ball. Try as they may the Lady Dawgs couldn’t land a ball in the net during the first half of the game.
After halftime, the struggle to stop the Little Muskies got more intense and the Lady Dawgs found themselves defending their own goal for a majority of the half. However, in the end, it was just not enough, John Glenn had racked up a huge 7 – 0 lead against Tri-Valley and they were just not able to recover.
