Historic, classic and even a couple of modern beauties were parked around the lot surrounding the Jackson Township Hall on State Street in Frazeysburg for the annual Lions Club Car Show.
In the last quarter of a century, this small-town car show has become a Labor Day tradition for many locals and provides an opportunity for resident car collectors to showcase their rides. Vehicles come from the surrounding areas as well with the one that traveled the farthest being awarded a special trophy. Other trophies are given for the oldest modified car, sponsor’s choice and Lions Club President’s choice as well.
Attendees enjoyed refreshments provided by the Frazeysburg Village Pool Committee and the Lions Club and visiting with fellow car enthusiasts and neighbors. A 50/50 drawing and door prizes were also a part of this year’s event.
Proceeds, which includes the vehicle entry fee of just $10, go to the club to help in their mission to help with needs within the community.
