Debbie Clark sat down at one of the scroll saws at The Carriage House Scroll Saw Shoppe for the first time. She instantly enjoyed it just like many who had the chance to test the equipment that day.
The open house gave interested kids and adults the opportunity to check out the shop, test the equipment, see some of the projects that can be made and meet the instructors.
The shop offers instruction for free and covers woodworking using the scroll saw and other tools. A variety of projects can be made at many skill levels.
Tom Taylor, who opened the shop said that 56 people have signed up so far to take classes. Classes begin on November 9th and will continue each Saturday from 8am to 4pm at 1015 Main Street in Dresden. Registration is required.
