The village of Dresden voted in a new mayor with just over 43% voter turnout to the polls on Tuesday, November 5th. Greg Morrison, a local business owner and longtime resident of Dresden is looking forward to his new role in the community. “I am just glad its over with and I am ready to go to work,” stated Morrison.
Incumbent mayor, Dave Mathew has been in office for 8 years and served on the village council as well as many other supporting roles he has had throughout the community over the years. “I have been honored to serve 8 years as the Mayor of the Village of Dresden, a Community that Donna and I love. I’m proud that we were able to bring Dresden back to being fiscally-responsible. Good luck to Greg! Donna and I look forward to enjoying our retirement,” said mayor Mathew.
