At Rich Longaberger Court, on Wednesday, December 4th, the Lady Dawgs Basketball team met up with The New Philadelphia Quakers to battle in home territory. The game was a very energetic one with a lot of scrambling by New Philadelphia to try to catch the Scotties.
The first half of the game was dominated by the Scotties as they grabbed the lead in the game and ended the first two quarters with a 26 – 19 lead.
After halftime Coach Kaufman’s girls came out of the locker room on fire and ready to keep the lead going. And just as before the Scotties ruled the court and pulled out a 10 point win over New Philadelphia at a final of 44 – 34.
The Lady Dawgs take on the New Lexington Panthers on Saturday, December 7th.
