Santa Claus arrived at the Township Hall in Frazeysburg around 7:00 on Sunday, December 1 to meet with children and hear their Christmas wishes.
The Township Hall was filled with many children who were excited to meet the “jolly old elf”. He was very accommodating and took the time to visit with each child and listen to what they hoped to receive Christmas morning. Several of them brought endearing gifts of pictures or letters to give to Mr. Claus.
The annual Holiday Lighting and Arrival of Santa event was organized by the Frazeysburg Revitalization Association. The Tri-Valley LEO Club was present to serve hot cocoa and cookies which were provided by the LEOs and the FRA.
There are still a few more opportunities to see Santa before Christmas. He will be making an appearance on Friday, December 6 at the Adamsville Firehouse from 7:30-8:30 pm. On Saturday, December 7 he will be parading through Dresden on a firetruck during the Home for the Holidays Parade which begins at 6 pm. Also, The Dresden Volunteer Fire Department has invited Santa to the fire station to meet with children from 6:30 to 9 pm on Tuesday, December 24.
