On Saturday, November 30, Girl Scouts from Tippecanoe Service Unit held their annual Mitten Tree event at Dresden United Methodist Church.
The Mitten Tree is a service unit event held annually to collect donated items such as hats, scarfs, gloves, mittens and ear muffs for those in need. This year, girls participated in a harvest theme day consisting of singing, arts and crafts, a photo booth, and snacks. Over 60 items were collected for charity and donated to Dresden elementary.
