A string of new events and some annual favorites were announced in a recent update to the www.DestinationDresden.com website last week.
The site is run by the Dresden Community Association who posted ten events, one for each month starting in March. The first event, a Spring Open House, will feature a rededication and ribbon cutting at the World’s Largest Basket to celebrate its restoration being completed by the date of the event which is March 21. Participating shops also plan to have store specials and/or activities during the day.
Two new events which will take place on Saturdays in April and September focus on adding creative and fun incentives to shop in Dresden. The People’s Choice Car Show will return on June 27 as will the very popular Dave Longaberger Legacy Dinner on July 17.
