Two former Longaberger buildings adjacent to the ECO Park, which were used as maintenance and construction facilities, were recently purchased by Eagle Environmental, LLC., which offers personalized environmental recycling solutions.
Eagle Environmental invested over half a million dollars in the 11-acre property which is conveniently located near State Route 16 allowing the eco-minded recycling company to be readily accessible to businesses.
Currently, Eagle Environmental, who has been in business for 11 years, has been servicing clients from all over the state, throughout the country and even as far as Korea from their Columbus location.
“It is great to be a part of the expansion of this area,” said co-owner Chris Sutton. Owners Sutton and David Grasso have known each other for about 25 years.
The location was chosen in part because of Chris’s connection to the area. He is a Tri-Valley graduate and lived in Frazeysburg and currently resides in Dresden. Chris also had been driving past the empty building for years reminiscing about when it was in operation as a Longaberger facility. When planning for an expansion location, the building came to mind.
Even though Eagle Environmental is a three million dollar company, Chris and Dave remain humble community-minded people. Chris has been instrumental in the planning for the Frazeysburg Fireworks Show of which Eagle Environmental is a Premier sponsor. They also sponsor Tri-Valley sports, as well as other area teams such as the Maysville baseball program and most recently the Watkins Memorial Rugby team.
Beyond their numerous monetary donations, Eagle Environmental also plans to add local jobs as part of their Muskingum County expansion.
They also have been partnering with local businesses to make the expansion possible.
Furthermore, having Eagle Environmental’s recycling services as part of the community is going to also benefit many local manufacturers and small businesses, making it convenient to safely dispose of a vast variety of waste, absorbents, and recyclable materials.
Their mission is to help local business reach their goals of becoming more environmentally friendly, landfill-free, and to promote sustainability.
