The Tri-Valley girls varsity basketball team took winning to a whole new level on Monday, January 27th, at the Dawg House in Dresden when they trampled over the visiting non-conference Mt. Vernon Lady Jackets to the tune of 67 – 15.
It was clear that the game was not going to end well for the Mt. Vernon Ladies when Tri-Valley stepped onto the court taking a quick and overwhelming lead ending the first period up 28 – 2. Lead scorer for the Scotties #11 Riley Tracy took to the net with 17 points. The win brings the girls to a 15 – 3 overall record and still standing tied with Sheridan at 12 – 1 in the MVL.
