Mark your calendars and ready your sweet tooth for the Annual Cake Auction hosted by Scout Pack 121.
The auction will be held on February 23rd at the Dresden United Methodist Church. Each scout will be bringing two creatively decorated cakes which will be up for auction. Cakes will begin arriving between 1 and 2 pm. Judging will take place from 2:15 to 2:30 pm. Local businesses and members of the community have been invited to bid on cakes.
“This event provides a great deal of the funds needed for the materials and fees that our program requires,” explains scout leader Wendy Hartman.
A portion of the proceeds will go to each participating Scout to help pay for their 2020 summer camp fees.
“This will be an excellent time for friends, classmates, teachers, employers, and families to come and see the Scout’s cakes and watch how Cub Scouting works,” said Hartman.
