The Tri-Valley indoor track and field team has been working hard at invitationals this season.
For the sprinters, junior Blake Sands currently sits in 12th place in the state for the 55-meter dash with a time 6.8. Sophomore Kendall Baughman’s top standing is for the 55-meter dash as well with a time of 8.1 which ranks her at 42nd place in the state. Claire Martin, a junior is currently 20th in the state putting up a time of 7.7 for the 55-meter dash and 27th in the state in for the Triple Jump with a distance of 31’8.25″. Junior sprinter, Olivia Combs scored her best time of 8.1 in the 55-meter dash earning her a 46th place rank in the state. Anne Miller a Junior and Jenna Wilson a Freshman both ran in the 55-meter and 60-meter dash. Anne also took on the 200-meter dash.
Claire Martin, Anne Miller, Olivia Combs, and Kendall Baughman teamed up to place 77th in the state in the 4x 200-meter relay with a time of 1:57.7.
On a very impressive side note, Distance runner, Ryan Meadows currently holds the fastest time in the 3200 meter distance run for Division 1!
