OHSAA Commission Jerry Snodgrass announced at a press conference just prior to the Thursday’s Girls Varsity State Semi-Final tipoff, that all winter sport tournaments are postponed indefinitely. Snodgrass acknowledged that in speaking with Governor Mike Dewine, as well as the State School Superintendent about Coronavirus concerns, and not knowing what is to come with state school attendance and whether the schools will close, that all of those factors lead to this decision.
