New 4-H Club Curious Clovers Begin “Meeting”

A new 4-H club was formed in the Dresden area this spring. Club members voted on the name Curious Clovers 4-H Club. Club advisors are Jamie Jennings Martin and Stacy Scurlock. Club members participated in the county wide 4-H Kickoff program in February.

At the March 9th meeting club offices were voted on and are as follows:
• President: Allison Scurlock
• Vice President: Hudson Matchett
• Secretary: Gwen Morton
• Treasurer: Coen Davis
• News Reporter: Berkley Brown
• Health & Safety Officer: Claire King
• Recreation Leader: Kylie Martin

Due to COVID-19 safety restriction 4-H clubs are currently not allowed to have in person meetings. The Curious Clovers have now had 3 meetings over Zoom. At the May 11 meeting 2 demonstrations were given. Allison demonstrated how to make a fruit and yogurt parfait from her cooking project. Kylie talked about the color wheel from her art project. There were also 2 demonstrations given at the May 18th meeting. Berkley presented on MyPlate from her cooking project. Coen went over gun safety guidelines from his gun use project.

The next meeting will be held on June 1st.
