Trash Receptacles Donated to Improve Main Street Dresden

Eleven trash receptacles donated by Jim Lepi replaced old and worn out trash cans that were previously in use on Main Street in Dresden.

“Some of the older trash cans were rusted out on the bottom and had to be recycled, but other ones that were in good shape are going to be reused somewhere else in the village,” said Dresden Mayor, Greg Morrison. Three football players, Jones, Sands and Baker, helped to move the new receptacles into place.

Other updates around the village are set for completion before the end of 2020 including several streets that need to be paved, new signs are being installed at the cemetery, and the “World’s Largest Basket” is scheduled to have its restoration completed yet this year.
