Thursday, August 27th, at Tri-Valley High School in Dresden, The Tri-Valley Girls Varsity Volleyball team took on the Crooksville Lady Ceramics defeating them in 3 straight games and putting a fitting cap on the evening after their Senior Night celebrations.
The Lady Dawgs leading scorers for the night were Lexi Howe, Aubrey Fritter, and Eva Dittmar who took to the court to dominate the Lady Ceramics with 3 a perfect set at 25-16, 25-11, and 25-20.
Celebrating Tri-Valley Seniors
Riley Albertson was accompanied by her parents Ryan and Tina Albertson across the court. She has played club volleyball for 6 years and school volleyball since 7th grade.
“To all the underclassmen, best of luck through the rest of your high school journey and thank you for always being such a positive and loving group to be around” wrote Albertson.
Madison Bobo was escorted by her parents Josh and Jessica Bobo and she plans to attend either the University of Cincinnati or Kent State to study Accounting. She has played club volleyball for 5 years and school volleyball since 7th grade.
Bobo had this to say to her underclassmen “Thank you for being the best group of girls to play with and make every second on the court count!”
Reece Smalley was accompanied by her parents Gus and Melissa Smalley and plans to attend Ohio University of Zanesville and hopes to one day become a nurse practitioner. She has played volleyball since 8th grade.
“Use your peripheral vision, Always wear your ankle braces, and Always check to make sure that your ankle braces aren’t sharp in areas you would never expect” she said to the underclassmen.
Trinity Vandusen walked across the court with her parents Jeff and Stephanie Vandusen. She plans to attend the University of Cincinnati or Kent State to study accounting. Trinity has played school and club volleyball for six years.
Trinity wants the underclassmen to know “Don’t wish it away, and enjoy the time that you have”.
