Lady Dawgs Undefeated For First Three Games After Taking Down Maysville and Morgan Back to Back

Tri-Valley Girls Varsity Soccer Team has had a great week taking on two challengers and walking away with the wins to bring their team to a 3 – 0 record so far for the season.

Monday night at Kenny Wolford Park in Dresden the Scotties took on the Morgan Raiders. In the first half of the game the Lady Dawgs came out strong fighting their way through the Raider defense to allow Senior Claire Martin to land the goal not once but twice taking the vital 2 – 0 lead.

The second half of the game was cancelled due to lighting in the area but they had played enough to call it a win for Tri-Valley.

Wednesday night at Maysville, Tri-Valley took on the Maysville Lady Panthers and turned it into their first road victory for the season with a 5 – 0 shutout.

The five scorers for the game were, Halyee Whyde, Claire Martin, Alisha Ritchie, Lexi Klotzbach, and Anne Miller. The shutout for the team is attributed to Tri-Valley Sophomore Alison Yingling.
