Annual Lions Club Car Show Huge Success – More Than 60 Cars

Labor Day 2020 was celebrated in Frazeysburg with the Lions Club 26th Annual Car Show.

This year, about 67 vehicles registered, which is more than what was expected and more than in previous years. Cars filled the lawn around the Jackson Township Hall in Frazeysburg and some were even lined up on the streets surrounding the building. A nice variety of muscle cars, historic vehicles, modern sports cars, trucks, motorcycles, and even a few novelty entries like a hearse made browsing interesting for all ages and tastes.

The show, which is always on Labor Day, was a perfect open-air activity to participate in or attend during this time were social distancing is expected. And even though there was rain in the forecast, the weather held out until well after the trophies were awarded to the winners.

Every year the Lions Club raises money during the event to put back into the community. Mums and carry-out concessions were sold. There was also a 50/50 raffle and a door prize drawing. This year’s proceeds from the show will go towards a scholarship fund for Tri-Valley seniors.
