Dresden Branch Library Offers After School Grab and Go Snack

Stop by for a free snack provided by the Children’s Hunger Alliance! Ages 18 and under

Children’s Hunger Alliance provides healthy meals and snacks to after school programs across the state through the federal Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Meals are prepared and delivered by a food service management company and meet the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) nutrition standards.

Please note that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the USDA has temporarily approved meals to be served in a non-congregate manner, though they are still intended for school-aged youth between 3 to 18 years old. Meals are available to pick up Monday-Friday beginning on October 5 from 3:00-4:00 p.m., while supplies last.

Food deliveries are subject to the regional school district calendar; unexpected and/or inclement weather closures may result in cancellations. Please check the library’s event calendar for program cancellations, or call the Youth Services Desk at 740-453-0391 x115 for more information.
