For the past seven years, Dayle and Karen Bailey have been working with Dresden Elementry School teachers and students to add a special personalized holiday touch to the planters located at the corners of each block along Main Street Dresden from Dave Longaberger Ave. to 10th Street.
Ornaments are all handcrafted by students in grades kindergarten through fourth. A variety of different styles of ornaments were created to make each tree different. Some trees hold colorful tree-shaped ornaments, cut-out snowmen, popsicle stick reindeer, paper representations of traditional bulb ornaments, and more.
Plan to take a walk along main and enjoy their creativity on display through the holidays.
