Tri-Valley Indoor Track Finishes State Meet With 3 Earning All-Ohio Honors

Coach Zach Durfee took his team of Tri-Valley athletes to the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio on March 6th, to compete at the OATCCC Indoor State High School Meet.

Claire Martin finished 6th overall in the triple jump with jump of 33’1″ earning her All-Ohio honors. She also seeded 18th in the 60 meter dash and finished 14th with a time of 8.08. In the long jump Claire seeded 11th and finished 11th with a jump of 16’1″.

Olivia Combs seeded 9th in the triple jump and finished 7th with a jump of 32’5″ earning her All-Ohio honors.

Sophie Sands seeded 20th in the Long Jump and finished 20th with a jump of 14’6″.

The girls 4x200m relay was seeded 24th and finished 21st with a time of 1:54 the team consisted of Anne Miller, Claire Martin, Kate Martin, and Sophie Sands.

As a team the girls finished tied for 35th place out of 56 teams in Division 1.

Jordan Pantaleo finished 6th in the long jump with a jump of 20’5″ earning him All-Ohio honors.

Xander Sims seeded 15th in the weight throw and finished 14th with a throw of 47’3″.

Nico Repuyan seeded 13th in the long jump and finished 16th with a jump of 19’0″. He also seeded 17th in the triple jump and finished 14th with a jump of 35’10”.

The boys 4x200m relay seeded 18th and finished 13th overall with a time of 1:33, the team consisted of Nico Repuyan, Cade France, Blake Sands, and Jordan Pantaleo.

As a team the boys tied for 41st place out of 56 teams in Division 1.
