Kids ages 18 and under were invited to enter a coloring contest for a chance to win one of three tote bags filled with Easter treats. This year there were over 20 entries from kids ranging in age from 19 months to 16 years old. We enjoyed seeing all of the entries.
The judging process was much more challenging than we expected. First, after printing off the emailed coloring pages we separated each of the pictures into their appropriate age groups. Second, we folded all of the forms under so ages, and contact details did not influence our decisions. Then, we picked the standouts from the group based on these things; neatness, creativity, and use of color. Finally, after narrowing our favorites to just a few, we picked a winner from each age group.
