Thelma P. Untied, 85, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Wednesday morning, March 24, 2021 at her home.
Born December 27, 1935 in Byesville, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Lillian (Marks) Robertson. Thelma was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, cooking, visiting family and watching old westerns on TV.
Surviving are four sons, Charles “Junior” (Ella) Untied of Frazeysburg, David (Cheryl) Untied, Kenny (Lynn) Untied and Brad (Sheila) Untied, all of Dresden; one daughter, Debbie (Matt) Pierce of Nashport, Ohio and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Barbara Newell of Newark, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Charles C. Untied, Sr., whom she married February 9, 1953 and who died March 1, 2011; two sisters, Betty Sigman and Lois Belt and two brothers, Edgar Robertson and Gene Wolfe.
Calling hours will be 5pm to 8pm Monday, March 29, 2021 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Due to Covid restrictions masks are required to be worn.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the funeral home with Chaplain Daniel Fullen officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
